When to specify AATIS/fr
vs. standard PE core panels
Buildings above 3 storeys
Thai fire regulations and most architectural specifications require FR-rated cladding materials on buildings exceeding three floors. AATIS/fr satisfies this requirement with its B1 and Class 0 certifications.
Government & institutional projects
Public sector clients — ministries, schools, hospitals, transport hubs — routinely require fire-rated facade materials by specification. AATIS/fr has been used on government buildings including the Changwattana Government Complex (81,294 sqm).
Hospitality & hotel facades
International hotel brands and their insurers increasingly mandate FR-rated exterior materials. AATIS/fr has been specified on hotel facades including Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 27.
International-standard specifications
Projects designed by international architectural practices often reference European (DIN, BS) or US (ASTM) fire standards. AATIS/fr carries certifications across all three systems — qualifying it for specifications from firms including Hassel, Palmer & Turner, and Architects 49.
